About Us
Andrews Converting was established in 1974 by, Tom Andrews, under the name of Andrews Steel Rule Die Co. Originally Andrews was a die shop that made steel rule dies for the folding carton and paper converting industries until 1986 when Tom’s son, Jim, joined the business and helped to expand into die cutting and finishing. In 1992, Tom’s other son, Scott, a graduate in from SIU with a degree in graphic arts, joined the business and used his knowledge to further enhance the business.
Since its inception, Andrews Converting has grown from a one man shop into a company with two shifts and over 25 employees. This was made possible by instilling a continuous improvement program to obtain a high standard of quality assurance, meeting the needs of our customers by acquiring pieces of quality, high speed equipment, as well as highly skilled operators, and by working closely with our customers to build strong working relationships.
